About the Author

Julie Bemerer, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist from Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Bemerer specializes in working with trauma-affected youth and their families. She provides state-of-the art treatment to children of all ages for post-traumatic stress symptoms. Dr. Bemerer completed her
undergraduate education at Miami University of Ohio and her graduate education at Xavier University. She completed her predoctoral internship at the UC Davis CAARE Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Sacramento,
California, and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Rowan Medicine CARES Institute in Stratford, New Jersey. She practices at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Bemerer is married with three children and enjoys traveling.
