I am thrilled to take you on a journey like no other – a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find in any travel brochure. 

Our Book Club Trips will be handcrafted to ignite your sense of exploration and wonder. These monthly to quarterly immersive adventures are your path to unforgettable memories and soul-stirring moments, beyond the pages of your favorite books.

Our first trip:

Buckle up for our very first Readventures Book Club Trip, we call the Ghost Town Getaway!

🗓️ Dates: April 26-28
📍 Destination: Ghost Towns of California, via Las Vegas
💺 Open spots: 4-5
👛 Trip Cost: $678 per person

Trip Details:

Friday 4/26: Gather in Las Vegas by 10 am + Explore the Death Valley National Park

Saturday 4/27: Visit Cerro Gordo Ghost Town in the morning + Attend Meet & Greet with the Author, Brent Underwood at Spellbinder Books in Bishop, CA

Sunday 4/28: Visit Calico Ghost Town in Yermo, CA on the drive back to Las Vegas

Included in the Cost

  • 3 days / 2 nights off-grid adventure through Nevada & California's best! 
  • Trip transportation: a premium SUV with 6 seats
  • Unique sleeping accommodations for April 26 & 27 - in glampy Tipi's

  • Travel Insurance (recommended, but not required)

This inaugural trip will be offered at cost and limited to just 4 to 5 participants, ensuring an intimate and unforgettable experience for all. A signed Liability Waiver will be required to participate. Will be share ahead of the trip.

Reaventure Book Club FAQs

Is airfare covered as part of the trip cost?

No, airfare is not included in the trip fee. Participants are responsible for booking their own tickets to the designated meeting point and arriving on time for the start of the trip.

Are meals included in the trip cost?

Meals are not included in the trip fee to ensure affordability and flexibility for all participants. The fee covers nonalcoholic beverages (bottled water, coconut water, sparkling water) and basic snacks (fruit, chips, health bars, etc). We will decide on dining as a group, along the way and stop to share meals. Participants are responsible for covering the costs of their meals.

What accommodations are covered?

The trip spans 3 days and 2 nights, with participants responsible for arranging their accommodations in Las Vegas before and after the trip if needed. The trip officially commences on Friday, April 26 at 10 am and concludes on Sunday, April 28 at 8 pm. Lodging costs for Friday and Saturday nights are included in the trip fee, while accommodations for Sunday night are not covered.

Optional group accommodations may be arranged for Thursday, April 25 and Sunday, April 28 nights - if there is sufficient interest, with costs shared among interested participants.
