Reading Happy Hour is back at 1909, a vibrant creative hub in downtown West Palm Beach!

Have a book you’ve been meaning to dive into? Now is the perfect opportunity to make time for your favorite hobby and connect with fellow book lovers.

Time: 6:00-7:30 pm
Location: 1909 in West Palm Beach
BYOB: Bring Your Own Book and a drink to stay hydrated. I’ll have hot tea and sweet treats for you!

We’ll keep the mingling to a minimum, providing a quiet space with a welcoming vibe, an ambient playlist, and a collective energy that enhances the reading experience. Don’t miss out on this unique gathering!

Event overview:

6:00-6:15 pm - Arrive on time! First 10 minutes we'll do an intro and a little grounding.
6:15-7:15 pm - Reading hour begins with 45-60 minutes of quiet time. We will play ambient music to support a calm space.
7:15-7:30 pm - We invite you into breakout circles of 3-5 people, where you are able to share a piece of your day with others - something you read, felt, thought or experienced, or simple to say hello and make a new connection. We'll offer ice-breaker cards to make interactions less awkward.
